I was tired of all these awful drinking games at parties, so I decided make my own. Here were my requirements:

  • A social game in which I will get to know everyone better.

  • A wild game that will make everyone drink and do crazy stuff.

  • A competitive game where wins and loss feel deserved through different sets of skills.

  • A simple game that won't need extensive reexplaining everytime a new person joins.

The result is: Queen's Cup, the aggregation of all my favorite drinking games. As a baseline, I used my existing King's Cup variation game. Basically, every number was associated with one of my invented rules. Turn-by-turn, players would draw a card and play the rule associated with it. The people I have played this game with loved it, and had a really fun time. I just had to finalize it.

With Queen's Cup, it's the same concept, but now, there's no need for rule to number phone notes association. The cards are embedded with the rules. The number of cards and copies aren't limited anymore. The game is aesthetically pleasing with card illustrations. And finally, new rules were created and the old rules were revamped.
